"The Shape of Play" by Sari Carel debuts September 4
The Shape of Play, a new temporary public art installation by artist Sari Carel, commissioned by the Jewish Arts Collaborative (JArts) and curated and produced by Now + There, will debut September 4 in the North End’s Waterfront Park, posing a provocative question: Do you feel free to play? This engaging multi-sensory work, up through October 31, invites us to reflect on the connections between play and the universal search for freedom through sight and sound.

Accelerator Program 2020: Projects Announced
Our 2020 Accelerator artists, Shaka Dendy, Ang Li, Karthik Pandian, Gabriel Sosa, and Yu-Wen Wu, successfully completed a six-month intensive designed to demystify the process of creating public art and will each receive a $25,000 stipend to realize their projects in over 7 Boston neighborhoods between now and September 2021.
