Commissioned by Boston Properties and curated by Now + There for the Prudential Center, Cicely Carew’s Ambrosia brought joy to one of Boston's most beloved public spaces. Cambridge-based artist Cicely Carew brought her exuberant, mixed-media abstractions out from the canvas and fully into the third dimension with a larger-than-life installation. A large-scale, site-specific, color-therapeutic ecosystem of remixed everyday materials, “Ambrosia” was a much-needed sanctuary of collective joy for all passing through Prudential Center from March-August, 2021.
