Building a public art city requires a collaborative attitude: a mindset of AND.
Today, we’re excited to share that the Now + There Board of Directors, who embody that ethos of AND, have committed an $18,000 matching challenge toward helping us achieve our year-end fundraising goal of $48,000.
That means all contributions will be doubled — up to $18,000 — when you give before December 31, 2018, ensuring continued innovative public art for all of Boston.
A gift of any amount to the Annual Campaign demonstrates your belief that Boston can be a public art city.
In 2018 individual donors — you! And people like you — invested in the work of nine artists who created stunning and thought-provoking projects. Projects that, in the theme of Common Home, spark shared joy in unexpected places, enliven our communities and celebrate our differences. Projects that bring us together throughout Boston, including Roxbury, Jamaica Plain, East Boston, Back Bay, Kenmore Square, and Dorchester.
This year we proved that creating accessible, contemporary public art in all neighborhoods of Boston requires vision AND action. It requires you AND me, contributing anything, and everything, we can.
We hope you’ll be inspired by the Board pledge and make a contribution. Your donation of any amount makes a huge difference! You can ensure that 2019’s projects will reach more people and will increase demand for more public art in the future.
On behalf of the Board, thank you for considering supporting Now + There with a 100% tax-deductible contribution to help build a public art city.
