The Boston Foundation: supporting Stories of Change

The Boston Foundation has committed to supporting interactive, compelling, free public artworks in Greater Boston.

And we're delighted to have their support!

Now + There has been awarded a grant of $20,000 by the Boston Foundation over the remainder of 2016 and through 2017. This grant will be used to provide vital general operating support for our small but mighty team. (We're especially excited to get our own dedicated Internet service, among the many critical business tools and functions this grant affords!)

Through increased financial stability, this grant helps Now + There bring curatorial vision and executional drive to create public art that fosters conversations around social issues and enlivens communities through participation.

The Boston Foundation, Greater Boston's community foundation, is one of the oldest and largest community foundations in the nation. In 2015, the Foundation and its donors made more than $135 million in grants to nonprofit organizations. In celebration of its Centennial in 2015, the Boston Foundation launched the Campaign for Boston to strengthen the Permanent Fund for Boston, the only endowment fund focused on the most pressing needs of Greater Boston.
