Amplifying Black artists + organizers

Kenny Mascary is the Community Partnership Manager at Now + There, as well as a DJ and event producer in and around Boston.

Black visions and voices are essential to the ongoing shaping of U.S history. They expand a traditional archive bent on leaving Black creators in the margins. As these stories thread the fabric of our every day and continue to reach us, they deserve uninhibited acknowledgment and persistent spotlighting. Here at N+T, we seek to recognize and empower those among us who lead the work to honor the legacies and achievements of generations past, reckon with and confront centuries of injustice, some of which still fester today.

We invite you this February to immerse yourself in one of the many opportunities below. Join us in celebrating the life and continued legacies of Black creators across Boston.
