Read their reflections + head to Dock Sq to celebrate #SummerSetsBOS.

How do you want to be remembered?

“I want to be remembered with a tree. I think memorial trees are one of the most powerful ways to be memorialized because they take the human experience out of the realm of human society and into the natural world.” - Adria Katz

“I want to be remembered as a playful, yet temperate system of support for artists and friends alike. Oh, and in gold. I love gold!” - Jasper Sanchez

What is your favorite thing about Boston?

“I love the idea of a plinth as a stage for performance or for climbing on or for temporary acts of commemoration. As a relatively short person, I often find myself stepping up onto elevated ledges, climbing up on top of rocks, etc, just to get a new perspective.” - Adria Katz

“I've come to appreciate Boston as a meeting point for emerging talent from all over the world, and as a result, it is a city full of opportunity.” - Jasper Sanchez

What would you want to see on a plinth?

"My vision for this prominent space at Dock Square would celebrate women of color leading as mayors, senators, women of color in Congress, and other leadership positions that dismantle political power in the United States. It would recognize the tremendous gains we have made in Boston and Massachusetts." - Susan Collings
