Massiel Grullon

Boston-based artist Massiel Grullon is an alumnus of Boston Arts Academy; Massiel created art at an early age. She was heavily involved in art projects and collaborative murals in the Boston art community. She continued to follow her passion, completing her bachelor's degree in painting & graphic design at Montserrat College of Art in 2014. Massiel is now an independent working artist doing freelancing, design/fine arts, and murals. She is also a Mentor teaching painting at Artists For Humanity in South Boston, MA. Massiel works primarily in fine art and design. Creating nostalgic, harmonious, and interactive work, Massiel produces paintings of portraits, abstract, graphic design, and murals. Most of her work is made of retro-inspired designs expressed through different mediums such as oil, acrylic, interior/exterior paint, and digital. Massiel is fascinated with mid-century and space-age architecture and interior furniture design, which is apparent in her style of work.
