On Friday, November 16th, join us to celebrate the opening of the Founders Project, a large-scale multimedia installation project headed by Boston-based artist, educator, and Now + There Accelerator cohort member Stephen Hamilton. The project re-imagines Boston Public School High-School students as the legendary founders of West and West-Central African ethnic groups, specifically those that are part of the ancestral base of the African diaspora. The life-size pieces incorporate painting, weaving, and sculpture art traditions from each of the spotlighted ethnic groups.

This event runs from 5:00 to 8:00, and the program begins at 6:00 pm.
