N+T is proud to announce that we’re bringing the singular vision of artist Nick Cave to Boston with a genre-bending, neighborhood-bridging public artwork that’s sure to be our biggest project to date.
Leah Triplett Harrington is the newest addition to Now + There’s small but dynamic staff. Leah joined Now + There in January 2019 as a full-time Assistant Curator to provide crucial support to our projects, including the Public Art Accelerator. Bold curatorial vision is central to the work we do, and we’re thrilled to welcome Leah to N+T.
Now + There selected to participate in the Barr-Klarman Massachusetts Arts Initiative, a $25 million, six-year investment in 29 arts and cultural organizations from across Massachusetts. N+T's engagement in the initiative begins with two grants totaling $225,000 from Barr and the Klarman Family Foundation over three years.
What happens when a rock star continues to volunteer at every project and talk you produce? You convince her to be on the Board! We’re excited to announce the latest addition to the N+T Board of Directors: the Boston-based producer, director, innovator, (and our most faithful volunteer), Alberta Chu.
Today, we’re excited to announce the Now + There Public Art Accelerator, which will serve local artists with the curatorial, technical and financial support they need to develop new temporary artworks in Boston in 2018.
